The Coppell Cowboys basketball squad scored 61 points and limited the host Plano Wildcats to 57 in the Cowboys league win on Friday.

With the win, Coppell upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Cowboys host Plano West (Plano, TX) to play the Wolves in a 6A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Plano West lost 88-61 in their recent league bout against Plano East (Plano, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Plano will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 7-16 record after their 79-41 league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX).
