With the win, Meadowbrook upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to face the Knights in a Central game on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights enter the game with a record of 7-4. Thomas Dale won 60-58 in their recent league game against Hopewell (Hopewell, VA)

With the defeat, Dinwiddie moves to 6-5 on the year. The Generals host Veritas Collegiate Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Monday, January 15. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 9-2. Veritas Collegiate Academy won 84-31 in their recent non-league game against Veritas School (Richmond, VA)
