The Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), 87-68 in Friday's league test.
The Generals (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Monacan notched a victory over Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 80-70, in a league test.
The Monarchs now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Springs for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. Meadowbrook will encounter a Springers squad coming off a 86-65 league loss to Varina (Richmond, VA). The Springers record now stands at 14-6.
