North Carolina High School Basketball - Enka overwhelmed by McDowell

The Enka Jets basketball team (Enka, NC), was overwhelmed 70-40 in Friday's league battle with the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

The Titans now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville for a 3A/4A Mountain battle on Tuesday, January 16. McDowell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 45-33 league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.

The Jets (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks come into the 3A/4A Mountain battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, North Buncombe was overwhelmed by McDowell (Marion, NC), 72-56, in a league battle.
