North Carolina High School Basketball - Enka knocked off by McDowell

February 6, 2024: Enka, NC 28728

The McDowell Titans basketball team scored 97 points and held the host Enka Jets to 78 in the Titans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Hibriten for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. McDowell will play a Panthers squad coming off a 58-47 league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-18.

Next up, the Jets play the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain bout, on Friday, February 9. Enka will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Black Hawks come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 86-64 league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC).
