The Northpoint Christian Trojans basketball team (Southaven, MS), was overwhelmed 61-34 in Friday's league battle with the visiting First Assembly Christian Crusaders (Cordova, TN)
The Crusaders now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. George's for a Division II-A West District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 16. First Assembly Christian will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 78-55 league loss to Harding Academy (Memphis, TN). The Gryphons record now stands at 6-8.
The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Rossville Christian Academy trounced Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS), 88-58, in a league battle.
