Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX), 68-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Horn upgrades its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Jaguars host North Forney (Forney, TX) to play the Falcons in a 6A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 12-14. North Forney lost 96-58 in their recent league bout against Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, January 19. Royse City will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record.
