Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Horn Jaguars (Mesquite, TX), 71-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Royse City upgrades its record to 16-14 on the season. The Bulldogs host North Forney (Forney, TX) to play the Falcons in a 6A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 13-20. North Forney lost 81-57 in their recent league bout against Horn (Mesquite, TX)

Next up, the Jaguars play the North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, February 9. Horn will attempt to upgrade on its 20-12 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 13-19 record after their 67-45 league loss to Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX).
