The Jackson County Blue Devils basketball team (Gainesboro, TN), was nudged 77-71 in Friday's league battle with the visiting York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN)
The Dragons now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13.
The Blue Devils (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Owls come into the 2A District 5 battle with a 3-10 record.
