The Jackson County Blue Devils basketball team (Gainesboro, TN), dropped 79-61 in Friday's league battle with the host York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN)
The Dragons now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren County for a non-league battle on Monday, February 5. York Institute will battle a Pioneers & Lady Pioneers team coming off a 47-36 league loss to Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN). The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers record now stands at 11-12.
The Blue Devils (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Cumberland County prevailed over Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY), 80-57, in a league battle.
