Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH), 59-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Urbana upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hillclimbers travel to Oakwood (Dayton, OH) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Oakwood won 68-53 in their recent league bout against Valley View (Germantown, OH)

Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Jonathan Alder will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 60-48 non-league loss to Greenon (Springfield, OH).
