The Round Valley Mustangs (Covelo, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Mendocino Cardinals (Mendocino, CA), 50-38 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Point Arena (Point Arena, CA). The Pirates go into the North Central III test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Point Arena notched a victory over Calistoga (Calistoga, CA), 70-30, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Potter Valley for a North Central III test on Tuesday, January 16.
