Kansas High School Basketball - Northern Valley crushes Wheatland-Grinnell

Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS), 84-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northern Valley upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Weskan (Weskan, KS) to clash with the Coyotes in a Western Kansas Liberty bout on Friday, January 19. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Thunderhawks clash with the Weskan Coyotes (Weskan, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 83-41 league win over Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS).
