Kansas High School Basketball - Wheatland-Grinnell overwhelmed by Northern Valley

The Northern Valley Huskies basketball team scored 94 points and restricted the visiting Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks to 28 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weskan for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Northern Valley will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 71-43 non-league win over Western Plains/Healy (Ransom, KS). The Coyotes record now stands at 10-4.

The Thunderhawks (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Western Plains (Ransom, KS). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Western Plains was routed by Weskan (Weskan, KS), 71-43, in a non-league contest.
