Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rangeley Lakes Lakers (Rangeley, ME), 96-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Piscataquis lost 58-48 in their recent league bout against Penquis Valley (Milo, ME)

Next up, the Lakers clash with the Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME) in a D South bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Rangeley Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
