Maine High School Basketball - Rangeley Lakes overwhelmed by Valley

The Valley Cavaliers basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the host Rangeley Lakes Lakers to 51 in the Cavaliers league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monmouth Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Valley will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-49 league win over Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-3.
The Lakers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME). The Wolverines come into the D South contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Wiscasset triumphed over North Haven (North Haven, ME), 61-30, in a league contest.
