The Union Hill Bulldogs basketball team (Gilmer, TX), was toppled 53-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Sulphur Bluff Bears (Sulphur Bluff, TX)
The Bears now possess a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saltillo for a 1A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 19.
The Bulldogs (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Saltillo (Saltillo, TX). The Lions come into the 1A Region III District 24 battle with a 13-14 record. In their last battle, Saltillo beat Avinger (Avinger, TX), 58-38, in a league battle.
