The Union Hill Bulldogs basketball team (Gilmer, TX), was overwhelmed 66-43 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Sulphur Bluff Bears (Sulphur Bluff, TX)

The Bears now possess a 25-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saltillo for a 1A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, February 13. Sulphur Bluff will confront a Lions team coming off a 48-37 league win over Union Hill (Gilmer, TX). The Lions record now stands at 20-15.

The Bulldogs (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Saltillo (Saltillo, TX). The Lions come into the 1A Region III District 24 battle with a 19-15 record. In their last battle, Saltillo trounced Avinger (Avinger, TX), 60-24, in a league battle.
