In Friday's league outing, the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), by a margin of 46-40.

The Black Knights (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions go into the Jefferson outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Louisa County was tipped by Orange County (Orange, VA), 50-19, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Goochland for a Jefferson outing on Tuesday, January 16. Western Albemarle will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-19 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-10.
