Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 57-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Charlottesville upgrades its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Flying Flucos come into the bout with a record of 5-15. Fluvanna County won 76-6 in their recent league bout against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a Jefferson bout, on Monday, February 5. Western Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 76-6 league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
