Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) and the visiting Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), saw Dalton's basketball squad knock off Hiram by a count of 61-44.

With the victory, Dalton upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Catamounts travel to Woodland (Cartersville, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-6.

Next up, the Hornets play the Cass Colonels (White, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Hiram will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
