With the victory, Dalton upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Catamounts travel to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Northwest Whitfield won 71-28 in their recent league challenge against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)

Next up, the Hornets play the Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Hiram will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 49-11 league loss to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA).
