Nevada High School Basketball - Dayton topped by Spring Creek

The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Dayton Dust Devils to 26 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fernley for a 3A Northern - East contest on Saturday, January 13. Spring Creek will battle a Vaqueros team coming off a 59-33 league win over Elko (Elko, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 18-1.

The Dust Devils (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the 3A Northern - East contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Elko was defeated by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 59-33, in a league contest.
