The Spring Creek Spartans ran past the visiting Dayton Dust Devils basketball team by a final score of 39-30 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a 3A Northern - East game, on Saturday, February 3. Spring Creek will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Vaqueros enter the game with a 23-1 record after their 59-28 league win over Elko (Elko, NV).

With the defeat, Dayton moves to 6-10 on the year. The Dust devils travel to Elko (Elko, NV) to face the Indians in a 3A Northern - East game on Saturday, February 3. The Indians enter the game with a record of 7-12. Elko lost 59-28 in their recent league game against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
