The Pirates (22-4) will now prepare for their outing against Moran (Moran, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region II District 13 outing with a 1-19 record. In their last outing, Moran was crushed by May (May, TX), 65-9, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Baird for a 1A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Rising Star will battle a Bears team coming off a 44-31 league loss to Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX). The Bears record now stands at 8-6.
