The Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR) basketball knocked off the host Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR), 49-29 in Friday's league test.
The Redbugs (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Trojans go into the 2A Region 8 test with a 13-4 record.
The Dragons now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Gurdon for a 2A Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 16. Junction City will encounter a Go-Devils squad coming off a 60-56 league win over Ouachita (Donaldson, AR). The Go-Devils record now stands at 11-4.
