In Tuesday's league outing, the Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR), by a count of 50-18.
The Redbugs (11-11) will now prepare for their outing against Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Trojans go into the 2A Region 8 outing with a 19-5 record. In their last outing, Parkers Chapel smashed Woodlawn (Rison, AR), 67-41, in a league outing.
The Dragons now hold a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Gurdon for a 2A Region 8 outing on Friday, February 9. Junction City will clash with a Go-Devils squad coming off a 30-18 league loss to Ouachita (Donaldson, AR). The Go-Devils record now stands at 13-6.
