The Franklin Regional Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Gateway Gators to 24 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a WPIAL 5A 1 contest on Thursday, January 18.

With the defeat, Gateway moves to 2-9 on the year. The Gators travel to Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA) to face the Wolverines in a WPIAL 5A 1 game on Tuesday, January 16. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 2-8. Woodland Hills lost 43-31 in their recent league game against Indiana (Indiana, PA)
