In Friday's league outing, the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), by a count of 80-36.
The Knights (20-8) will now prepare for their outing against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Rattlers go into the 6A Region IV District 27 outing with a 18-5 record. In their last outing, San Marcos smashed Clemens (Schertz, TX), 81-49, in a league outing.
The Unicorns now hold a 12-16 record. They play next when they travel to East Central for a 6A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, January 16. New Braunfels will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 49-29 league loss to Judson (Converse, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 20-9.
