The Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) basketball crushed the host New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 59-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Knights (25-8) will now prepare for their test against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Rattlers go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 19-9 record. In their last test, San Marcos walloped Clemens (Schertz, TX), 47-36, in a league test.

The Unicorns now own a 13-20 record. They play next when they host East Central for a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, February 2. New Braunfels will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 43-31 league loss to Judson (Converse, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 23-11.
