In Friday's league outing, the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) basketball squad edged the host Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), by a count of 42-41.
The Bobcats (16-10) will now prepare for their outing against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region I District 2 outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, Midland was tipped by Frenship (Wolfforth, TX), 74-26, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Midland Legacy for a 6A Region I District 2 outing on Tuesday, January 16. Permian will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 74-13 league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 12-13.
