In Tuesday's league outing, the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX), by a margin of 35-33.
The Bobcats (20-11) will now prepare for their outing against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region I District 2 outing with a 13-16 record. In their last outing, Midland was tipped by Frenship (Wolfforth, TX), 85-25, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 11-15 record. They play next when they travel to Midland Legacy for a 6A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, February 2. Permian will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 59-33 league win over Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 15-15.
