The South Delta Bulldogs routed the visiting Shaw Warriors basketball team by a final score of 62-36 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS) in a 1A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, January 16. South Delta will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record.
With the defeat, Shaw moves to 10-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS) to face the Cowboys in a non-league game on Saturday, January 13. The Cowboys enter the game with a record of 6-11.
