The South Delta Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Shaw Warriors to 39 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Olive for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. South Delta will battle a Pirates team coming off a 40-21 non-league loss to Stringer (Stringer, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 3-16.
The Warriors (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Stringer (Stringer, MS). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 7-17 record. In their last contest, Stringer ran past Mount Olive (Mount Olive, MS), 40-21, in a non-league contest.
