In Friday's league outing, the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) basketball squad beat the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), by a margin of 45-34.
The Vaqueros (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers go into the outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Grossmont was beaten by Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 55-31, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Miguel for a outing on Tuesday, January 16.
