The Whitney Wildcats basketball team (Rocklin, CA), was nudged 74-72 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA)
The Golden Eagles now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a battle on Wednesday, January 17. Del Oro will battle a Trojans team coming off a 78-44 league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 15-3.
The Wildcats (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Folsom edged Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA), 62-57, in a non-league battle.
