California High School Basketball - Whitney tipped by Del Oro

The Del Oro Golden Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Whitney Wildcats to 62 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Ridge for a contest on Wednesday, February 7. Del Oro will meet a Trojans team coming off a 62-49 league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 19-5.

The Wildcats (18-9) will now prepare for their contest against Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 24-2 record. In their last contest, Folsom nudged Rocklin (Rocklin, CA), 72-61, in a league contest.
