Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Mentor knocks off Benedictine

The Mentor Cardinals ice hockey team scored 11 points and held the visiting Benedictine Bengals to 1 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Cardinals (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Varsity Opponent (, ). The come into the non-league challenge with a 46-78 record.

In their next game, the Bengals battle the New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Benedictine will attempt to better on its 4-18 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 4-1 league win over Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH).
