The Amite School Center Rebels basketball team (Liberty, MS), dropped 56-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Centreville Academy Tigers (Centreville, MS)
The Tigers now possess a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prentiss Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Centreville Academy will battle a Saints team coming off a 54-25 league win over Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS). The Saints record now stands at 9-5.
The Rebels (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Christian Collegiate Academy (Gulfport, MS). The Bulldogs come into the MAIS 4A District 5 battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Christian Collegiate Academy beat Pontchartrain Christian HomeSchool (Slidell, LA), 59-37, in a non-league battle.
