The Centreville Academy Tigers basketball team (Centreville, MS), was routed 72-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Amite School Center Rebels (Liberty, MS)

The Rebels now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Collegiate Academy for a MAIS 4A District 5 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Amite School Center will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-4.

The Tigers (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bowling Green (Franklinton, LA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Bowling Green was routed by Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA), 48-42, in a non-league battle.
