Texas High School Basketball - Anahuac knocked off by Orangefield

The Orangefield Bobcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Anahuac Panthers to 43 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kountze for a 3A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Orangefield will meet a Lions team coming off a 82-33 league win over Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 11-12.
The Panthers (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Buna (Buna, TX). The Cougars enter the 3A Region III District 22 contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Buna was defeated by East Chambers (Winnie, TX), 47-42, in a league contest.
