In their next game, the Panthers face the Buna Cougars (Buna, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 game, on Friday, February 10. Anahuac will attempt to move on its 18-13 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 15-15 record after their 71-61 league loss to East Chambers (Winnie, TX).

The Bobcats (24-7) will now prepare for their battle against Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region III District 22 battle with a 16-14 record. In their last battle, Kountze edged Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX), 73-54, in a league battle.
