The Burrell Bucs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Apollo Ridge Vikings to 42 in the Bucs league triumph on Friday.

The Bucs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Burrell will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 55-45 league loss to Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.

The Vikings (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record.
