Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) followers went home content Tuesday as they observed their basketball team smash the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), 62-34 in a league game.

In their next game, the Bucs face the Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 game, on Friday, February 10. Burrell will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 4-17 record after their 77-51 league loss to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA).

With the defeat, Apollo Ridge moves to 1-22 on the year.
