With the win, Aquilla upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Cougars host Cranfills Gap (Cranfills Gap, TX) to play the Lions in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Cranfills Gap won 61-38 in their recent league bout against Gholson (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Jonesboro Eagles (Jonesboro, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Oglesby will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 64-24 league loss to Abbott (Abbott, TX).
