Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Auburndale Apaches (Auburndale, WI), 65-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marathon upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Mosinee lost 74-71 in their recent non-league bout against Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI)

Next up, the Apaches play the Spencer Rockets (Spencer, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Auburndale will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 66-45 league win over Gilman (Gilman, WI).
