Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) and the visiting Auburndale Apaches (Auburndale, WI), saw Marathon's basketball squad hold off Auburndale by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Marathon improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI) to confront the Screaming Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Screaming Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Chequamegon won 77-40 in their recent league challenge against Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI)
Next up, the Apaches confront the Abbotsford Falcons (Abbotsford, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Auburndale will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 77-40 league loss to Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI).
