Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN), 83-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shakopee upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Sabers travel to Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Blaze clash with the Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Burnsville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 86-75 non-league win over Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
