Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN), 69-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shakopee upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Sabers travel to Farmington (Farmington, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Farmington won 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN)

Next up, the Blaze clash with the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 bout, on Friday, February 24. Burnsville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Irish go into the bout with a 7-16 record after their 52-36 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MN).
