The Callisburg Wildcats basketball team (Gainesville, TX), dropped 64-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX)
The Bearcats now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to S & S Consolidated for a 3A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Whitesboro will confront a Rams team coming off a 99-23 league loss to Ponder (Ponder, TX). The Rams record now stands at 2-17.
The Wildcats (9-15) will now prepare for their battle against Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A Region II District 10 battle with a 14-8 record. In their last battle, Boyd dropped by Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX), 48-42, in a league battle.
